    If you like Moe’s

    You’ll love Chubby’s Tacos

    Chubby's Tacos Logo

Chubby Tacos started as a modest, inexpensive taco option for Duke Students and Durhamites. They have expanded into Raleigh and RTP, but their modesty has remained. Although I go for the tacos (particularly the shrimp taco), they do have other Mexican fair such as burritos the size of your head and fried plantains. Don’t forget to get an Horchata or freshly made agua fresca.

Hurray! Around the office we call Chubby's Burritos "baby arms" because they are HUGE. I'm lucky they recently opened one near my house. My only slight is the logo, is that a fat Speedy Gonzales?

I haven't been brave enough to try to eat one of their burritos, but I have been with those who have. They also have pretty good queso. Thanks for the comment. aburtch
